Well, back in WWII we learned about the Kamikaze – they were a group of folks that believed in something so much that they would give up their lives to prove their point. As bad and as the concept proved to be for both sides… it did prove a point. And that is when people make a decision it’s hard to change their minds. Fast forward to today… and some of the terrorists we have in our mist… I can say the same about them. Mainly because they also get woman and children to do their dirty work. They strap bombs on and they and send them out with a message about how strongly they feel about their cause … cause they are most likely sitting somewhere in a hideout speaking as boldly as they can… from a videotaped speech. That’s a far cry from the Kamikazes that had honor.

This week Obama had a come to Jesus moment and did what some folks think is his kamikaze moment. It is a move that no president has ever done … then again it is a move that you most like likely would see happen in a campaign season. The headline: Obama comes out about Gay Marriage… I’ll skip all the puns as we have a lot of work to do with this subject… I’ll give you a min … OK, now this subject of gay marriage and its relationship with our government is described as rocky at best. I’ve been following most of California’s plight for some time and as the west coast folks seem to be the type that like to head up a parade, the government has been flirting with this subject and Californians so much that I am not sure where we are at all on this subject …
Now the country’s politicians are doing what is now being referred to as a head fake for the folks with an alternative lifestyle; gay marriages in California or around the country – see, in the West Coast, folks (The government) did not want to be shown up by Massachusetts or any other city or state that allows gay marriage, so they gave gay folks a taste of the life that us heterosexuals live, you know, true freedom. And it’s been a on an off relationship for sometime… right now they are separated… and working on custody of the kids.
The last I remember about 18,000 new gay married couples got married or tried to get married in California…but of course they ran the risk of not really being married and possibly having to give back all the wedding presents ta boot. Low and behold – they did what kids call “a take back.” So if you think the odds of marriage is tough for straight folks – try being gay and adding your own government having reservations about your marriage as well.
Now, I won`t spend a lot of time talking about this because I don`t know much about this subject. I only know what all other American`s know and that is that we have the freedom of choice in this country, well unless it goes against other American`s freedoms, I guess.

My knowledge on this subject is based on working in entertainment for 25 years in California, which allowed me to be able to point out protesters in the crowd on TV by their first name.

Anyway, I’ll tell you that in the 25 years I spent in theater I can safely say I don`t have any outward signs of leprosy, I am not gay, and I am also not any neater or better dressed.. Darn.
See, I know I am stepping into the fires of Hell and most folks of faith would say that just mentioning this subject means that I might just have lost my place in line . . . up there.

But, it is pretty simple, the day our government tells us who we can love and be with for the rest of our lives, is the day we will narrow our choices of everything down to one choice, your soda pop, you health care, your money, your cars, your freedom. Because even though some things in our country are black and white, don`t kill folks, don`t steal, (that is not just a Bible thing) our freedoms come in many shapes colors and sizes.

As much as it is not my lifestyle, I do understand love. And it is tough enough with any sex, let alone to have the added stress of hiding it from the world.
If we are truly God’s children and God loves all, how does passing judgment and damning people we don`t understand work with the first of this sentence? We are truly God`s children and God loves all. Remember, the Bible is a book that was written by guys who were not truly there with Jesus; they only interpreted what he said. So, I take the idea of the words and make basic assumptions; be good to others, don`t steal, don’t covet thy neighbor you know, because to deny love and the freedom of folks (Americans) to consummate it, is a little like not allowing a person of another color a right to sit on the same bus as you.
I say to you all, FREEDOM is what this is truly about. Anything less than that is Communism, don`t you think? And as I always say, I am open for discussion and anyone who passes judgment on my comments here, without emailing me their opposing thoughts would be guilty of not following the Scriptures.
Here’s how I see it. Replace the word Marriage with the word freedom… oh, try this one, now take the word Politics and replace IT with the word FREEEDOM – not so easy huh?

Is Obama the worst President the United States ever? a question I was asked recently.

If you ran a business and you were the owner and every day you came to work and you said, ok crew let’s do this ... or do this ... and everything you said, the people that you managed had the comeback... NO, you’re crazy ... 1. Would you fire them? 2. If you couldn't, would you ever get anything done? MOST likely NO.

Is Obama the worst President the United States ever? a question I was asked recently.

I spend my time trying to find humor in our political landscape, it’s heather than looking for the rotten spots and the best I can find is weeds. Weeds are what stop the growth of a lawn. Now, consider that in this little country we have as a lawn and the President is the care taker. He can try to do all he can, but if the weeds keep popping up, eventually the lawn will die.

Now, I have followed this administration before the beginning, before Hope and Change. Even after this President grabbed the victory in 08 it still was pretty obvious that the struggle was not over. Watching this President work is kinda like watching a man play tug-a-war with a battleship. From the first lame duck session in 2010 to the present day…

But politics is a two-way street, only in politics most of time, both ways is a dead end! Here’s a plan, whoever wins this race this time the other party has to act like good losers, not poor losers. Cause this country is tired of being poor.

Folks every once in a while even a funny person has to show they have a serious bone in their body and not just a funny bone. The subject: bullies.

Well, this week I’m going to tackle a serious subject. I know you’re thinking, but Will you’re a humorist. Folks every once in a while even a funny person has to show they have a serious bone in their body and not just a funny bone. The subject: bullies.

You can never really look at an adult and know if they were bullied when they were kid.
When I was younger I was one of those kids. See my family moved a lot before I was 12, and I moved 15 times. When I say that, most folks reply: Military, and I say NO… Bad checks… Funny, but true. This caused me to be bullied. Moving from school to school, always being the new kid. Always picked last on the team and sometimes not at all.
I can tell you that I had many ah times that I walked the long way to class to avoid being made fun of, or worst.

The only thing that I can say that came good of the bullying is that I got good at talking my way out of a fight, and I became very physically fit, from running all the time. But after a while I became the first to be picked on the team, cause I was the fastest.

It also helped me to understand people from the moment I first meet them… And what I figured out was, the bullies were more scared and alone than I was.

I’m convinced the person that said:
Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me was the person that was doing the name calling. Cause it does hurt and bullying has to stop!

Here’s my plan… Start dragging the parents into the principal’s office and make them and their kid, the bully write on the blackboard 10,000 times – I will stop being a bully and treat people like I want to be treated.
You might be surprised that this might help work out some family problems as well…

Now I am the first person to tell you folks that if it’s not broke don’t fix it… but I might be the first person to tell you that if you car is broken DONT bring it to the washing machine repair man…

What’s becoming obvious to this humorist is that we have a group of people we call politicians that we keep giving our problems to, BOTH deems and reps and they don’t seem to be able to get us the answers we are paying for. Our taxes that we pay are really starting to make me feel like we are paying to get a palm reading and the problem is the answers they are coming up with is not the right answers. Which is odd, because if you keep asking someone to solve a problem and they keep passing the BUCK and not solving the problem.

I just can’t figure out why we just don’t fire the politicians and trade them in for a Magic 8 Ball. At least if that doesn’t work we can buy another one, or use two of them and get a second opinion.

Ok, so I am talking about student loans… however, you can switch the words student loan out for any other subject you like and it will all be the same.

This week hot off the grill is this student loan deal… Republicans want to keep the rates low, so they can use and strip Obama’s health care money to pay for the subsidies. Obama and the Democrats (Most of the deems, I think don’t want the money to be taken from Obama’ s health care … and want the richer people to be taxed.

Either way… This is the part of an election year and that makes every issue smell funny.

My plan:
My suggestion is that we have those professors that are working 80 hours a week work a regular 40 hour week and these colleges that are charging so much money, well they can’t charge that much money unless they guarantee jobs when the students get out

Otherwise put everything online. You know, like the University of Phoenix, all online. I’m taking a course right now and I’ll never see the teacher again

If you can buy a PhD masters degree online for about $100 and it won’t mean anything. We can spend $200,000 a year and it still won’t mean anything when it comes to getting a job and I think we can find some way of lowering the prices. Maybe one way of lowering tuition is the idea to put everything online as much as I’m against that. Maybe can we pay off the debt if everybody worked from home and likes to be home at their business.
Because if you are going to get robbed of a good education just make sure you’re not paying much money for it.Howdy all,

The Ryan Plan, & The Buffet rule equals the RuffIt Plan say humorist Will Roberts

I am starting to feel like every time politicians come up with a new plan to help the country it’s like their handing Americans a Rubix cube for the first time, with a blindfold… and then they say, figure it out.

Sometimes it’s better to scatter all the parts on the floor the day before Christmas and try to visually put it together and afterwards if you have extra parts you can add um and tighten all the bolts. This Ryan plan and Buffet rule I am convinced is yet another box of parts and we Americans don’t know which tools will get us to the end result. One side thinks keeping the rich happy is the way to growth and the other side looks at the side as a growth I mean like a wart on society. It’s odd because we Americans sortof set this whole system up to have the political parties watch out for our well being, yet most of the time we find that these politians are not in their rights minds… or left minds. We look to the media to help define what it is politicians are talking about …only thing is, they ask questions, politicians dodge the answers, and the media lefts them off the hook, mainly because it makes for a longer news cycle. So, I have a plan and Mr., if you use this plan, I would suggest you here in 2012 should run for “cover” cause it could go wrong I decided out of respect to go with last names Ryan and Buffet. And I decided to call this the rough it plan. It’s pretty simple.What we do is we allow everybody to stay at status quo and let people just fend for themselves. If you’re rich you keep your money amd if you are poor, you keep trying to get it. If we can’t find a middle ground, then let’s meet in the middle ground and duke it out. But I have to tell you that if I had my choice, well my money (what little I have left) would be going on the poor folks. There’s a big difference between book smarts and Street Smarts when it comes to survival and when push comes to shove and folk’s families come and play well, I think that the game of survival might go to the poor folks. When you confuse folks enough you either lose them or you gain a very focused group of people… And by the numbers the odd work ought to be 99 – 1 and you’ll lose.

Mother Nature is the original OUTsourcer. Hurricanes, tornadoes, heat waves, snowstorms

Now the more I think about it the more I realize that this “Outsourcing” thing is really is not something new. Mother Nature is the original. Hurricanes, tornadoes, heat waves, snowstorms… a very good percent of them come from outside the US … and vice-versa, she’s playing both sides of the globe. However, who does her product effects the most; I’d have to say the farmers. We can weather the storm and come out dry. But the farmers every year have to cross their fingers; throw some seeds down and then hope and pray they can make ends meet. In the 70’s we had Farm-aid, a Band-Aid to help American farmers stay in their homes and get folks to realize that anything you buy or eat should be deep rooted, bought and grow in the USA. Farm-aid is still growing strong. But there seems to be a weed growing steadily across the country, – the farm bill. It’s supposed to be, amongst other things a safety net. But like most anything from Washington it’s filled with byproducts. Seems to me that that we should treat our farmers, the ones that literally helped grow this country and keep our dinner tables stocked with a little more respect.
I am a firm believer that we should help put food on poor folk’s tables; however, maybe the poor we feed first are the small farmers.

I have a plan:
I say we go back to the basics like the bill was in the 30s – to help the farmers grow. And if folks need help getting food on their tables that can be part of the bill, but not most of it.
Let’s help families eat the farm food, not the fast food. And if you’re caught eating your desert first we just won’t pay for that.
By the way … Change that name … No one, especially farmers, want to be handed something called a bill. Call it a thank you gift…
